RIYADH: Saudi Arabia’s King Faisal Specialist Hospital and Research Center is turned into an independent, non-profit institution, Saudi Press Agency reported, citing a Royal Decree.
The decision aims at making it one of the best health centers worldwide, SPA added.
KFSHRC, as the healthcare provider is known, will develop its services, capacity, and research as well as open new branches.
The transformation of KFSHRC is in line with objectives of Saudi Vision 2030, the statement said.
KFSHRC was found in 1976 in Riyadh to serve society with the highest level of healthcare and best patient experience in an integrated education and research setting.
